Why It Works

The number on the front is the one that counts

Most black seed oils tell you how much oil is in the softgel. We tell you how much of the active is in it.

Clean Ingredients

Oil and shell, nothing else. No fillers, no bulking agents, no preservatives — just cold-pressed Nigella sativa in a softgel.

Standardised, Not Estimated

Thymoquinone content varies enormously between oils. Ours is assayed to specification every batch and declared on the label at 10mg per serving.

Trusted Quality

Made in our own UK facility to GMP standards, halal certified and non-GMO, with the batch code and expiry printed on every bottle.

Seed to Softgel

Three steps, no shortcuts

Each stage protects the fraction that matters — and removes everything that doesn't belong.

TQStep 01

Cold Pressed

Whole Nigella sativa seed pressed mechanically at low temperature. Slower and lower-yielding than solvent extraction — and the only way to keep the volatile aromatic fraction intact.

TQStep 02

Molecularly Distilled

The raw oil is distilled under vacuum at low temperature, separating out contaminants and off-notes while leaving the thymoquinone fraction exactly where it belongs.

TQStep 03

Batch Verified

Every batch is assayed for thymoquinone before encapsulation, so the 10mg on the label is the 10mg in the softgel. Then sealed, coded and dated.

Real Results

Not all black seed oil is the same oil

  • 10mg thymoquinone per serving Declared on the front of the label, not left to chance.
  • 1000mg of cold-pressed oil Two softgels a day, taken with food — 60 servings a bottle.
  • Zero fillers, pure potency Black seed oil, gelatine shell, glycerin, purified water. That's the whole list.
  • Halal, non-GMO, UK made Certified halal and manufactured here to GMP standards.

Declared at the Active

Two bottles can both say “1000mg black seed oil” and contain very different amounts of thymoquinone. Ours is standardised, so every serving is the same serving.

Questions

Before you order

What is thymoquinone (TQ)?

Thymoquinone is the principal bioactive compound in Nigella sativa and the constituent most examined in the research on black seed. Because its concentration varies so widely between oils, we standardise ours and declare it on the front of the label — 10mg per two-softgel serving — rather than only listing total oil weight.

How many softgels should I take, and when?

Two softgels daily with food and water. Do not exceed the stated dose. Black seed oil is fat-soluble, so taking it with a meal that contains some fat is the sensible way to help absorption. At two a day, one 120-softgel bottle lasts 60 days.

How is this different from an oil that just says 1000mg?

“1000mg” describes the weight of oil in the softgel and says nothing about how much thymoquinone that oil contains — which can differ several-fold depending on seed origin, harvest and extraction method. Standardising to 10mg TQ means every batch is assayed against a specification before it ships.

Is it halal, non-GMO, vegetarian?

Halal certified and non-GMO, with no preservatives. It is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans — the softgel shell is bovine gelatine.

Why does the oil vary slightly in colour between bottles?

Cold-pressed Nigella sativa is an unrefined agricultural product, so shade and aroma shift a little from harvest to harvest. Every batch is still tested to the same thymoquinone specification.

Can I take it alongside my other supplements or medication?

Black seed oil sits comfortably alongside most daily supplements. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking any medication or have a medical condition, speak to your doctor or pharmacist before starting.

Where is it made and how long does it keep?

Manufactured in the United Kingdom in a GMP-certified facility. Each bottle carries its own batch code and expiry date; store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and use it before the printed date.
